23rd JUNE - NO JAZZ CLUB DUE TO INTERNATIONAL SPORT

30TH JUNE - BEN GRIFFITHS JAZZ HARP TRIO - A club debut of the Harp! and a club debut from the magical Harp player Ben Griffiths. This performance will feature Joseph Van Parys on guitar and Ashley John Long on bass. Expect to hear Swing classics, Django standards, and Bossa Nova during this exciting performance from three excellent musicians based in South Wales

7TH JULY - BRYAN CORBETT & TOM CLARKE HILL TRIO - Bryan Corbett is regarded as one of the UK’s most expressive and versatile trumpet players on the scene. A long standing touring musician with The Brand New Heavies and a featured soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Bryan has had a varied career right at the top level of the instrument. He will be joined by Tom Clarke-Hill (Double Bass), Arran Shangavi (Piano), and Andrew Tween (Drums)

14TH JULY - BD LENZ TRIO - Regulars will know that when BD Lenz Trio are over from New Jersey it is not to be missed! On the rockier side of Jazz and Jazz fusion, Guitarist BD Lenz leads with his strat on a music journey featuring tracks from Pat Metheny to Sinatra, from Prince to the Beatles. Joined by the incredible maestros James Rosocha (bass) and Joe Falcey (drums)

21ST JULY - JASMINE GRACE QUINTET - Jasmine, sometimes known as ‘Jazzy’ is a young singer at the start of her career with a voice and musicality well beyond her years. We had multiple audience members tell us how much they enjoyed her set at Christ church when she supported Sir Tom Jones’ Voice finalists Billy & Louie, and she followed this up with a fabulous evening at The Royal Oak Jazz sessions. Also featuring Tawanda Mapanda (Sax), Adam Frost (Guitar), Joe Westwood (Bass) and Harry Sayers (Drums)

28TH JULY NICK MALCOLM ORGAN QUARTET - Nick Malcolm's new quartet assembles three great musicians who he's wanted to play with for ages, playing music they love! Digging into the treasures of Blue Note composers Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock, this is an unashamed celebration of the music's golden era in the 1960s and 70s, where swing and funk began to blend. 4TH AUGUST - ZAMBALANDO - Wiltshire’s popular Latin Jazz and Funk Band play a fusion of Salsa, Merengue, Lando, Samba and Bossa Nova with a unique twist in compound time signatures and complex rhythms creating their own original sound - fusion of jazz, funk and afro-peruvian rhythms. Miguel Lara - Vocals & Guitar, Adam Frost - Guitar, Joe Westwood - Bass, Tawanda Mapanda - Percussion

11th AUGUST - ALAN BARNES - Quite simply, Alan Barnes is one of the titans of the UK Jazz scene and no Jazz programme should be without him. He has over 25 British Jazz Awards and twice been made BBC Jazz Musician of the Year. A star of the Saxophone, but also the Clarinet, he is not to be missed.
