Since 2015, The Royal Oak has become a cornerstone of Old Town Swindon’s eating and drinking community and the only specialised Gin, Champagne and Oyster Bar in the area, stocking over 100 different Gins!

9th SEPTEMBER - STUART HENDERSON QUARTET - Such is his immense talent at Jazz, composition and heavy swing, it is sometimes hard to believe that trumpeter Stuart Henderson was also principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band in Her Majesty’s Household Division! Always one of our most popular bands! Feat. Tom Berge (Piano), Stuart Barker (Double Bass) and Simon Price (Drums)

16th SEPTEMBER - JASMINE GRACE QUINTET - Jasmine, sometimes known as ‘Jazzy’ is a young singer at the start of her career but who is already impressing audiences. We had multiple audience members tell us how much they enjoyed her set at Christ church when she supported Sir Tom Jones’ Voice finalists Billy & Louie, so we just had to snap her up! Jasmine is from Swindon and has a voice and musicality well beyond her years. We really hope our long standing audience will support this artist who no doubt will be on bigger and bigger stages.

23rd SEPTEMBER - GLEN MANBY - We welcome back Hard-boppin saxophonist Glen Manby who last year released his latest album on the 33 Jazz Records label, “When Sunny Gets Blue" - available to stream on Spotify and You Tube! An incredible line up of Ross Hicks (Piano), Ashley John Long (Double Bass), and Scott Hammond (Drums)

30th SEPTEMBER - PASQUALE VOTINO TRIO - Having graduated in music in his home country Italy, Double Bass player Pasquale has been a touring musician based in the West Country of the UK for over 10 years. He has backed some of our best guest soloists, and it’s about time he led his own band at the club!

14th OCTOBER - ZAMBALANDO - It’s a Latin Edition of the weekly Jazz Club! Zambalando play fusion of Salsa, Merengue, Lando, Samba and Bossa Nova with a unique ‘twist’ in compound time signatures and complex rhythms creating their own original sound - fusion of jazz, funk and afro-peruvian rhythms. 21st OCTOBER - ROD KELLY TRIO - This trio always put a smile on our face! Jazz standards mixed in with Boogie Woogie and Blues Classics with alot of laughs in-between. Led by Vocalist and Pianist Rod Kelly, with Wayne Elliot (Double Bass) and Eddie John (Drums)

28th OCTOBER - LUCY MOON QUARTET - A class act led by the swinging honey coated voice of Lucy Moon. Great to swing dance to or to relax with a drink to the vintage vibes! Lucy Moon (Vocals), Dale Hambidge (Piano), Chris Jones (Double Bass), and Ryan Thrupp (Drums)
